StakeMap 3D is an interactive 3D map for stakeholder and project planning. You add people involved as nodes, assign them to categories and connect them with lines – all directly in a freely rotatable space.

Navigation in the 3D view

• Drag – rotate the map (orbit)
• Scroll – zoom in and out
• Right mouse button + Drag – pan the map
• Click a node – select or edit details
• Reset view – reset the camera position

Creating stakeholders

In the “Add stakeholder” section you enter a name and choose a category. The new node appears in the 3D map immediately after Add node. Via the list in the “Stakeholders” section you can click, rename, recategorise or delete nodes.

Categories & colors

Categories colour the nodes. In the “Categories” section you can create new categories, rename them or change their colour via hex code or colour picker. At least one category is always kept; when you delete a category, its nodes are assigned to the remaining category.

Creating connections

There are two ways: Link nodes in the toolbar (then click two nodes one after the other in the 3D view) or via the form in the “Connections” section (From/To selection + Add connection). Existing connections can also be removed there.

Saving & transferring

• Export → JSON data – save the complete map as a file (recommended! The data only lives in the browser and is lost after closing without an export).
• Import – load a saved JSON file again.
• Export → PNG / PDF / Video – export the map as an image, PDF or as a video tour (2 laps).
• New – start over with an empty map (one category).

Important: Your map is not saved on a server. Save it via Export → JSON data so it is not lost.

Notes

The hit counter in the top-left corner shows the total number of page views; clicking it opens the statistics by month and year. Use “Feedback” to reach the contact area.
